He claims to have helped Julius Caesar, Abraham Lincoln, Tim Henman and Phil Collins get where they are today. He has baked motivational muffins with the board members of a logging company. And he’d love you to come to his next weekend workshop at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Watford, so he can help realign your shakras and make a succeeder out of you.

Neil Mullarkey’s brilliantly crafted character storms the stage in a peach suit that was last seen on the set of Miami Vice. He regales us with his successes, like how he won an award for Best Late Night Television Talk Show in a Non-metropolitan Area when in Medicine Hat, Canada.

Mullarkey takes the mick out of New Age shenanigans and is very convincing as the charlatan Spencer. His show is better than the real thing, too, as you’ll laugh more.
